Creativity is contagious. Pass it on!

Albert Einstein once said, ‘Creativity is contagious. Pass it on!’

I have been really pleased to see some of the creativity you have been showing at home throughout this time and I thought that I would pass some of it on to you.

Firstly, I received a lovely email from Hafsa who had worked on a fantastic and compassionate piece of art with her family.

Secondly, I received another email that showed the creativity of another member of our class. Wah Yuan had created a fantastic and intricate pyramid over the Easter break.

During the Easter break, I worked with a group of children in school and we produced a large piece of art inspired by Jackson Pollock. However, it was unclear who enjoyed it more the boys or myself.

I’d love to receive more emails about all the creative things you are doing at home. Please do let me know via email ( so I can pass on your creativity.

  1. I made it by using the lolly pop sticks we saved over the years. With my mum helping me cutting the sticks into the shape, I started making a square shape for the base then formed the second layer smaller than the first. I continued the process till the tip. I had to put the sticks over slightly inside so it would make the pyramid shape. After I let it dry I had paint it yellow and orange mixed together. And the bits my mum cut off we used them as sand. – Wah Yuan
